DON’T LET YOUR FEARS STOP YOU IN NETWORK MARKETING
We all have fears in our lives, but the real question is how to overcome them! What are the necessary steps that we need to take to successfully break down these fears?
Fear is one of the most basic human emotions. It is programmed into the nervous system from the time we’re infants, fear helps protect us. It makes us alert to danger and prepares us to deal with it. Feeling afraid is very natural — and helpful! Like all emotions, fear can be mild, medium, or intense, depending on the situation and the person. A feeling of fear can be brief or it can last longer.
How Fear Works
When we have fear, the brain reacts instantly, sending signals that activate the nervous system. This causes physical responses, such as a faster heartbeat, rapid breathing, and an increase in blood pressure.
Fear is what stops us from trying a new concept like Network Marketing! The fear of failure is probably the number one reason that overcomes us! Approach your fears as opportunities for growth. If you look beyond the fear to the benefits of overcoming the fear, you may see a world that might just be worth taking some risk to live in.
The adage, “nothing ventured, nothing gained,” and all of its various permutations (e.g., “no guts, no glory”) are based on the time-tested principle that we can’t grow if we don’t allow ourselves to be stretched. Yet the fear of failure short-circuits ideas, stymies careers and deprives us of experiences and opportunities that could enrich our lives. If you have an idea and don’t try it for fear of failure, you’ve just given someone else the chance to try it instead–and someone else will, if you don’t.
Network Marketing is your chance to overcome your fear and grow in every aspect of your life! This is a journey that develops you into a person of value and will empower you to overcome your fears! All fears can be conquered if we face them head on!
As a Network Marketing leader I had to overcome so many of my own fears. Network Marketing has given me that chance! Our failures can be dead-ends or learning experiences that can lead us to try other routes to success, depending on how we treat them. “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” That’s a very old saying, but it’s great advice.
Try this: If you’re afraid to fail at something, make yourself a list of the things you can try if you do fail at first. It never hurts to plan ahead.
